Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup raw honey
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¾ cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. 1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve some pasta water and drain.
  2. 2. Toss sliced steak with Cajun seasoning until evenly coated.
  3. 3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the seasoned steak for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned but not fully cooked. Remove from skillet.
  4. 4. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add chicken broth and let it reduce slightly before stirring in heavy cream and honey.
  5. 5. Combine the cooked pasta, reserved pasta water, seared steak, and Parmesan cheese in the skillet. Toss until well-coated and heated through.
  6. 6. Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan if desired.
