  • 1 bag (24 oz) frozen French fries
  • 1 lb thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin steak
  • 1 cup cheese sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread frozen fries on a lined baking sheet and bake until golden brown and crispy according to package instructions.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add seasoned steak and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from heat.
  3. In the same skillet, add another tbsp of olive oil and sauté the onions and bell peppers for about 5-7 minutes until soft.
  4. Layer half of the baked fries on a serving platter, followed by half of the sautéed vegetables, steak, and drizzle with half of the cheese sauce.
  5. Repeat layering with remaining ingredients and serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
