Description

Indulge in the delightful fusion of flavors with Spaghetti Garlic Bread Bowls, where warm, crusty bread meets al dente spaghetti coated in rich garlic butter. This comforting dish is perfect for family dinners or gatherings, offering a unique way to enjoy two beloved classics in one delicious bite. Each bowl is generously filled with spaghetti, topped with melting cheese, and garnished with fresh parsley, making it an irresistible centerpiece for any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 French bread loaf (12 inches)
  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 6 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the French bread loaf in half lengthwise and hollow out some of the soft interior, leaving enough crust to form bowls.
  3. Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and olive oil together. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes; cook until fragrant (about 1 minute), then remove from heat.
  5. In a large bowl, combine cooked spaghetti with half of the garlic butter mixture and Parmesan cheese. Fill each hollowed-out bread half with the spaghetti mixture.
  6. Drizzle remaining garlic butter on top and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
