Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add in pumpkin puree, egg, and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Gradually combine with wet ingredients.
- Fold in chocolate chips gently.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared sheets about two inches apart. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden.
