Description

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add in pumpkin puree, egg, and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Gradually combine with wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips gently.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared sheets about two inches apart. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden.
