  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and brown sugar. Add chicken pieces and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook marinated chicken until golden brown and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes).
  4. In another bowl, whisk rice vinegar with cornstarch and water until smooth. Add this mixture to the skillet after removing the chicken; stir until thickened.
