- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp cold water
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil (for cooking)
Instructions
- Prepare all ingredients: Slice the beef, wash and chop vegetables, and mince the garlic.
- Make the sauce: In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch slurry, and any additional seasonings.
- Heat a large wok over medium-high heat; add vegetable oil until shimmering.
- Cook the beef in a single layer for about 2 minutes without stirring. Once seared, stir-fry until fully cooked. Remove from the pan.
- Add garlic to the same pan followed by broccoli, bell peppers, and carrots; stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until tender yet crisp.
- Return beef to the pan and pour in the sauce; stir everything together over medium heat until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
